Having owned my own recruitment business for 12 years, I recently had the opportunity to sell and explore new horizons.

After 30 years in commercial world I want to see how my skills can be used to help in our local communities.

Education and Disability are two areas I provide support to and am also a school Governor at Monkspath Hall School in Solihull.

Currently Vice President of Solihull Chamber of Commerce, I bring knowledge to the ways in which the charity and business sectors can work together.

The RCV Warwickshire Project is administered from

Co-ordinator Vacancy

Warwick and District Ryder-Cheshire Volunteers would like to invite expressions of interest as part of the tender process for the provision of the co-ordination services to our members and volunteers. Please click here for more information

Please contact me if you are interested in any of the super volunteering opportunities below.

RUGBY: Neil ejoys watching rugby, attending where possible at The Old Sils in Solihull, Moseley, Coventry and Worcester.  He would welcome spending time with a volunteer who has an equal interest in the game.  When the season finishes, the conversation and replays of games keep on coming. Could you be the person who provides this regular support. Rowington area.

BUSINESS START UP: John is seeking support setting up his consultancy business.  He knows it will take time and would appreciate a volunteer to support him with their knowledge.  He is completing a course with the JC for the basics however marketing and selling his business are new to him.  Leamington Spa area.

CRICKET: Our member is seeking someone who knows their sport, in particular cricket to sit with him and 'talk sport'.  Although currently bed bound the hope is that won't be for too long and your weekly visit would make all the difference to him.  Easthorp area.

Cool

LEARN HOW TO PLAY THE GUITAR: Do you have a talent which you could teach someone else?  April would love to learn how to play the guitar and to socialise in the evenings and at weekends. If you have a love of music could you help her to learn how to sing which has long been an ambition. Leamington area.

GENERAL BOARD GAMES AND PLAYING POOLGeoffrey has a fun side to him and wants to spend time outside of family and carers to play pool, board games and cards,  to have the opportunity to develop a new friendship and activity. With some short term memory loss Geoffrey will need reminding of the rules of the games some times.  Leamington area.

TEN PIN BOWLING: Along with a keen interst in rock music Jason would love to have a volunteer to go to the cinema with or ten pin bowling on a regular basis. He lives in a residential home and feels the need to also have an interest outside of his day to day life.  Kenilworth area.

BIRDWATCHING: Although Bill has some limitation with mobility he is keen to go back in time to the day when he used to do birdwaching locally in the Leamington area.  He recognises how important it is to have interests and hobbies in his life.  Cool

You can also support us by becoming our Events Volunteer, organising a social event every 2 months for members and volunteers to come together or perhaps your design skills are better suited to the development of the Warwick and District Newsletter?  Give me a call if you can support us through volunteering 01926 485469 and become part of the RCV Team.Kiss
