I joined RCV in June 2008. After finding out what amazing work the organisation did. I thought I have to work for them!

At 17 I ran off to join the circus, ok it wasn't really a big top circus but just as much fun. I volunteered for 4 years with Circus Eruption, which is an integrated youth circus, based in Swansea. I later became their first project co-ordinator. While In Swansea I trained and worked with the creative training company, Dynamix. This gave me a really good grounding and I still use a lot of theory and practice today.

Over the next 10 years I worked in youth work and care, specialising in special needs, learning difficulties and disabilities. I have been very lucky that my work has included organising and running summer play schemes, co-ordinating Swansea carnival, Facilitator on courses for the co-operative movement, and most recently working with adults with learning difficulties in a residential setting, training and supervising volunteers. I still work on occasionally as a freelance international creative trainer.

When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, swimming, co-directing the local village show and reading lots and lots of books!

I also love eating cheese cake and watching movies with my girlfriends!
