A football fan is needed for Conor who is a keen football fan & a devoted Leicester City fan. Conor wants to watch matches with another supporter either at the Walkers Stadium or at the pub.

Shopping - Loughborough

Charlene likes to go shopping but needs a little help as she's registered blind & getting used to having a walking cane. Do you really need an excuse to go shopping & help her spend some money?

Creative Writing - Mountsorrel

There is an opportunity to work with a remarkable lady who in spite of many difficulties is in the process of writing a short novel...and this is her second book! If you have a flair or interest in books and/or writing, this could be a great chance to help Sue along with this task. There is a partnership working well already, but the current volunteer is now ready to retire. The advantage here is that a new volunteer would be able to enjoy an induction period with the existing volunteer before flying solo!

Take to the great outdoors - Newtown Linford

Alison lives in Newtown Linford & is visually impaired. She would like a volunteer to accompany her to local events such as outdoor concerts & events. Why not help her to get out more!

Crafts - Loughborough & Coalville

Pam & Jill have always enjoyed craftwork, in particular making cards. Sometimes an extra pair of hands can make all the difference so why not help them out!

Bird Watchers/Ornithologists!

We have a couple of disabled members who would really appreciate the company of an amateur ornithologist...ideally to do some bird watching together and also, just to chat about the hobby and compare notes.
