Ryder-Cheshire Volunteers (RCV) has changed its name to ENRYCH. This is a tremendous and progressive step for our growing and dynamic national charity which looks beyond disability to see a person’s potential through leisure and learning...two of life’s great pleasures. The charity has been working across seven counties of England for the past 25 years. Stephanie Flower, CEO of ENRYCH, explains: “Changing our name affords us the liberty to provide more responsive and creative support options, represents an opportunity to explain the difference we make and ensures that we don’t forget our very inspirational founders, Leonard Cheshire and his wife, Sue Ryder.”
With affiliated Branches operating across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire and Warwickshire the organisation is celebrating its Silver Jubilee in September with a national conference on Personalisation at the Crowne Plaza NEC. This will be followed by an early evening reception for staff, trustees and invited guests, including the charity’s patron, Graeme Garden OBE. The charity’s new website is now avalible www.enrych.org.uk
